Empowering Students

At 3C's Academy, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our students. Our programs are designed to provide a nurturing and supportive environment where students can thrive and reach their full potential. We offer small class sizes with a 1:5 student-teacher ratio.

How Do I enroll my students?

When parents or school personnel are interested in enrolling a student at 3C’s Academy, Choice*Challenge*Change, the administration team will review the student's current Individualized Educational Program (IEP), 504 plan, medical records, and other relevant information. This helps determine if 3C’s Academy can meet the students’ needs. A tour of the academy will be scheduled, along with a casual interview with the student. The student can accompany parents or school personnel on the tour or visit at another time.

This process allows staff to become familiar with the student and their family’s expectations. During the tour, the student can meet with staff, interact with other students, and explore the school and classrooms. If the student has a current IEP and a complete, updated case study, their educational program will be implemented at 3C’s Academy.

What is the curriculum?

The curriculum at 3C’s Academy is designed to provide individualized instruction based on each student's learning needs through a method known as Differentiated Instruction (DI). DI is a systematic approach to planning curriculum and instruction that caters to academically diverse learners through responsive teaching.

At 3C’s Academy, teachers are flexible in their teaching methods and tailor the curriculum to meet the specific needs of each student, rather than expecting students to conform to a predetermined curriculum. In planning their lessons, teachers take into account students' readiness, interests, and learning styles. Additionally, 3C’s Academy teachers adhere to the Common Core State Standards (CCSS), ensuring that the education provided meets rigorous academic benchmarks.
